Two new transformers, more green power capacity
Earlier this year, 65 tonnes of green energy infrastructure arrived at GreenLab when we welcomed two new 40 MVA transformers. With these in place, we have expanded the capacity of our transformer station and are ready to connect even more renewable power directly to our site.
84,4 MW directly connected power
Our two new 40 MVA transformers enable us to deliver more renewable power from our wind and solar park directly to the site partners in GreenLab.
With this upgrade, our capacity is now 84,4 MW. The direct connection means that companies in our industrial park can electrify their production with green energy without putting extra strain on the national grid.
Faster time-to-market
With pre-built utilities in place, companies that choose GreenLab benefit from a shorter time-to-market.
And with our new transformer capacity, we are ready to welcome even more site partners who want to be part of the green transition. Power is a central part of our energy mix and it is complemented by heat and other utilities.
By investing in robust infrastructure like our transformer stations, GreenLab continues to pioneer new models for the future’s energy system. Our two new transformers are part of creating a blueprint for a system where direct industrial electrification plays a key role and where renewable energy can be used smarter, faster, and more efficiently.
